Temperature controllers

The first Winkler goal was to develop a practical and easy-to-use generation of temperature controllers. Today, ten years later, our customers appreciate the Winkler FAT controllers, which have perfectly replaced the old PID controller series. A major advantage of FAT is the permanently self-optimizing controller setting without having to determine the mandatory PID parameters. FAT stands for Fast Adaptive Tuning and describes the reliable algorithm – comparable to PID – that works in our controllers. Winkler temperature controllers for wall mounting are specially developed for combination with a flexible heating solution. Equipped with a very robust IP65 housing, the controllers can be mounted and connected directly without additional switch boxes and expensive installation material. The controllers can be ordered configured with the correct parameters ex-works. Thus they can be put into operation quickly and easily.
Direct current powered heaters of class III are providing a high safety standard but require on the other side high currents to be powered. Our powerful 12...48 VDC L-200 controller series are the perfect solution to power low voltage applications up to 20 ampere Due to the mostly harsh environmental conditions e.g. in utility vehicles, our L-200 series is encapsulated in resin against vibrations, dust and water. On top, the signal output gives you the feedback, if your application is keeping the right temperature.
You can also use the IR handheld to change setpoints remotely. This can also be done safely with many controllers in the vicinity. It is also possible to change the setpoint retrospectively with the L-200/300 series. The mounting plate is used to attach the L-400 to the wall. It can be removed using the Velcro fastener and is therefore easy to use. For the L-200/300 series, there is a clip that can be attached directly to a heating hose. |
The robust multi-channel controllers are used wherever space is limited. Equipped with the same technology as the single-channel controllers, these controllers also stand for high durability. With the multi-channel solution, the installation costs can be reduced even further, especially with many heating circuits.
W-234 DC 4-channel controller for wall mounting without operation panel. Only with the IR-Handheld you can change setpoints. This can be done safely even with many controllers around.
W-334 AC 4-channel controller for wall mounting without operation panel. Only with the IR-Handheld you can change setpoints. This can be done safely even with many controllers around.
W-432 AC 2-channel controller for wall mounting with operation panel.

The robust single-channel controllers stand for high durability. FAT stands for Fast Adaptive Tuning and describes the reliable algorithm – comparable to PID – that works in our controllers. A major advantage of FAT is the permanently self-optimizing controller adjustment without the need to adapt the PID parameters to changing ambient conditions. It is also not necessary to optimize the parameters during commissioning.
W-500 series for simple control tasks. Durable wall mounting controllers for a wide range of applications. The sophisticated FAT control algorithm adapts optimally to the heating solution.
W-600 series for precise control tasks up to 40 A. Our wear-free controller for wall mounting is suitable for precise control tasks up to 40 amps.
W-700 series for demanding control tasks and sensitive products. Safe and durable controller for wall mounting for demanding applications and sensitive products.

The controllers specially developed for demanding laboratory applications are the perfect partner for our Pilz laboratory heating mantles. With either a thermocouple or resistance sensor, the temperature can be measured directly in the medium and thus a very precise temperature accuracy can be achieved. The robust table-top housing enables simple and reliable operation in the laboratory. T-500 provides temperature control of the heating mantle using the built-in heating mantle sensor or alternatively via medium sensor. Using the heating mantle sensor prevents the temperature of the glass flask from becoming too high and from overheating at the edges of the flask . Alternatively, the medium sensor can provide a more exact temperature of the medium inside the flask. The T-500 series offers two models. ✅ T-560 for direct connection to Pilz Heating Mantles. 3+PE socket that perfectly matches the pin wiring of PILZ heating mantles plug connection. Either the heating mantle sensor or medium sensor can be connected. Delivery includes miniature plug for connection of the sensor. The connection cable for power supply is already included with the heating mantle or can be ordered separately. T-700 combines both advantages of control with two sensors. The medium temperature is regulated with high precision using the medium sensor. An additional sensor in the heating mantle is used to limit the temperature of the heating mantle during heating. This prevents the temperature of the glass flask from becoming too high and the medium from overheating on the inner flask surface. In addition, the T-700 allows advanced functions such as slow heating via ramp temperature settings. The T-500 series offers three models. ✅ T-760 for direct connection to Pilz Heating Mantles. 3+PE socket that perfectly matches the pin wiring of PILZ heating mantles plug connection. Other sockets enable the simultaneous use of two sensors. Delivery includes miniature plug for connection of the sensor. Delivery does not include connection cable for power supply. This is already included with the heating mantle or can be ordered separately. |
