Up to 48 digital or 30 analog inputs or outputs fit under the high-quality rear panel. This solution often replaces the aging C7 devices and gives machines a second life. Thanks to the large RAM (512/640 kB) and the many interfaces such as Ethernet (S7 communication, TCP and UDP), Modbus (-TCP and -RTU, CAN (CANopen and Layer2) as well as RS232 and RS485 (free ASCII) and optional Profibus DP V0 master and slave, these devices are favored as data loggers, BDE devices and gateways with S7-programmable data preprocessing.
